We continue to take steps to promote access to quality education, environmental sustainability, ethics, and diversity and inclusion.

As a signatory to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) Publishers Compact, we are committed to enacting the themes of the SDGs— whether that’s promoting and acquiring relevant content, raising awareness of key issues among our customers, authors, and suppliers, or collaborating with others in our industry to drive action in support of climate and nature.
That’s why we are already aligning many of our activities to support the delivery of the SDGs by 2030. To hold ourselves accountable, we have established a steering committee to guide our progress against the commitments within the Compact, which includes representatives from across all our publishing divisions and functions that own activities which contribute.
Find out how we are supporting many of the SDGs below.
